I thought this up in school. So what if we started like a text pokemon battle. To start off we'd only have the legendaries. It would be like you walk on the spot and it would engage in battle. Like if you made it to the end of the power plant:


Wild Zapdos wants to battle!

Then you would have the option of /rock which would do a random damage from 1-14 or for donators:


Donator: /rock + /slam (15-24 damage)
Veteran Donator: /rock + /slam + /toss (25-34 damage)
Ace Donator: /rock + /slam + /toss + /beam (35-44)
Master Donator: /rock + /slam + /toss + /beam + /gigaimpact (45-54)


The legendaries would all have the HP of itself at Lvl 70.


There would be a $500 prize for beating one.


The player would have a default of 150 HP (the pokemon can damage you).


You can do /flee for a $250 fee


Rank ups of damage your attacks can do, defense against attacks, and your HP could be implemented later. As well as other pokemon in places besides legendaries and player vs player battles.


In a much later update there would be /ball for a $1k fee that would catch the legendary at a 10% chance (default) (for every donor rank +10% IE Master 50% chance). You could think of what to do with the pokemon later.


For admins there would be like /setpoke Zapdos. That would be at the Power Plant.


Or /setpoke Articuno. For the Seafoam Islands.


And for events in random places an admin would do /setpoke Raiku/Suicune/Entei and then after the event /delpoke Raiku/Suicune/Entei

I've thought about the possibility of text based battle system. Could work, but could also get quite boring quickly not having a visual side to it.

I've considered this and it would be very easy to make with the exception of adding all the pokemon and moves, but it would "forshizzle" be really boring

Just saying this is the closest thing to Pokemon as possible. Would you even try it? Or just save Para's time on RunningShoes and other stuff?

No. To be honest all these plugins are getting annoying. I mean the lag on the server is getting worse and we want to add more to it??

I like how the server is now, to much change might seem good but, it is good we still stick to our roots if you get what i mean.

I like the idea but the visual side is a bit of a problem the other thing would be gaining new moves I mean people might not want only those 4 moves, say when people join they are normal type and have only e.g. slam or tackle, but when you beat your first gym you are a moderator will give u a pokemon type at random, and as you "level up" from beating pokemon you gain new moves, but donators etc. can get special moves like hyper beam, and say that they are TMs or HMs
