Do what I do, surround it in netherbrick+regular fence

Think you can set it up in the museum? I don't know what design you're talking about. I'll place an egg and use an alt to see if it works when you say its created. Or have another admin do so if I can't get on before they do.

What I meant by multiple layers, is MULTIPLE layers. Enough so that the only plausible way is to have probably an efficiency 1000000 or something and break through 4 layers of glass.

Don't see what's so funny about that. You can put the egg behind 10 layers of bedrock and no one will be able to see it.
Personally I'd go for 1 layer glass and 1 iron bars, maybe with a stone brick design kind of thing. But that's just me.
