Has pokemon x/y made pokemon more childish?
« on: April 16, 2014, 08:40:29 am »
okay, is it just more Has pokemon x/y made pokemon more childish? I mean there was no graveyards or anything like that in it where almost all the regions have those. Here are some examples: gen 1:lavender town (it started them all) gen 2: ehh not much I guess you can consider the ruins of alph. gen 3: Mt. Pyre gen 4; it has a lot of them;wayback cave, old chateu, and the distorian world and more! gen 5: that one tower i can't remember it's name gen6:? Aslo, your forced to do MANY more things for your rivals. Did mentions there's like 5 of them and they are not really competitive. If they make pokemon more childish , i am going to stop playing the newer games.

Read the Pokédex entries of all the Pokémon, you'll see some of them aren't so kid friendly.

I think the games are getting more mature.

So a giant machine that wants to destroy the world is childish?  And the rocks in geosenge town are basically gravestones for pokemon.  Childish, my ass.

Lysandre basically tried to kamikaze with the ultimate weapon once you beat him. He shot it on himself in an attempt to kill you. You do stuff for your rivals because they're also your friends. They don't do that much because what they do would make the game shit. Did you really want to travel around the region dancing with Tierno?

I feel gen 6 in total was catering more for the older players than others. All the past references in the game and Pokemon Origins.
