Yes, that is true.
I'm going out to buy a minecraft card today so I can make a account.
EDIT: I have another minecraft account, but I can't use that due to login issues.

Indeed. They took away the perms of free-use of the gym to only use for offical challenges. I hate it when someone challenges me and I forget to check their badges ( I do because I never do Funchallenges even when I started I NEVER did them ) I HATE it to hell when I see this message " User already has Badge! They returned it to you! "

Its the leader's choice whether they accept the challenge of someone who already has their badge.
