Fucked Up Gym Leaders

No offence but that's a gym leader job. To accept all challenges and if you do need to go when someone issue's a challenge then maybe you can be polite and say I'm sorry I have to go rather then just logging out. Of course being a gym leader isn't an easy job but you have to deal with it I mean why do you become a gym leader if you think it's so hard or you get too many challenges. I get what you mean but if it's that hard then maybe you should resign. Not just pointing this out to you TA but to every gym leader. I know that gym leader's have a lot of pressure on them and get annoyed a lot but I think you should at least be nice to the challengers.

And i am polite but when you leave like you say even then people rage at you .
And i never said it was TO hard fore me i just said its not easy .
So there is no way im going to resign just saying .

I agree with tactic here, some gym leaders ignore challenges A LOT. i was one of those leaders, and i got kicked... but i see where your coming from TA, leaders get swamped with challengers daily. during my day, all it was was "Dax, I challenge you!" I regret my choice, but challengers should also show restraint towards leaders, because when you get 5+ challengers in one day, its hard. but when you just flat out LEAVE when your issued a challenge, thats wrong, and ive seen it happen today with yahel. heres what happened:

Yahel has left the game
Bg: WTF!!!!
 
leaving is just wrong, especially when you are issued a challenge. not to mention yahel was on for a total of 30 seconds.

And since gym leaders do get swamped by challenges, bringing back a power level requirement for challenging gyms isn't a bad idea

We admins are trying to find the best way for gym leaders to keep their challenges. As far as I know, the quota's we have aren't a good system nor favored, so it may be taken down. But honestly, I'm disappointed by the gym leaders. By signing up to be a gym leader, you ACCEPT the responsibility that it takes to have others further themselves on the server and become the champ. By you denying one person, you're denying them the chance to their goals. And if you complain about people challenging you too much, then quit! As an admin, I get hundreds and hundreds of people asking me for help. I had 7 people whispering me once asking for help. Every day. Every week. Every month. And I don't cry about it. I suck it up and keep doing it. Why? Because I like my job, I love the server, and I'm dedicated. I only wish the gym leaders had half the love for this server that all the admins did because if you did, this wouldn't be a fucking problem.


If you're a gym leader who is accepting a good amount of challenges, good for you, this isn't directed at you. But for those who are just abusing the gym leader system for their own gains and ignoring people? I have two words for you.

so just to let u guys know sometimes I challenge ta 2 or 3 times a day he NEVER ignores my challenge every now and then he'll be in the middle of a tournament and I respect that but, other than that he's fine.
