No, why would that be illegal? Its their choice if they want to be a taxi service, they did pay for /tpa.

It is annoying if you're the taxi (the mods would also know that), but it's not illegal.

I thought shops were 10,000 for non donors and 7500 for donors.

I haven't found any evidence of a price change for them listed anywhere since becoming a mod, which is when I wrote those down.

Wierd. My shop in vermilion was $7500 Did you buy your Viridian shop for $15000? Or Perhaps the price varies depending on region(Kanto/Johto).
