So how serious is a hack threat?

Just wondering. By only altering a game by its content and visual format as well as controls, rather than reinscribing the code source on an active data receiver and transmitter, or, server. Please do not make any assumptions about me. We are all entitled to our own opinion!  ;)

Fragment, consider revising. Please do not make any assumptions about me. We are all entitled to our own opinion!  ;)

To answer your Subject question, we are satisfied in our host's security, and we keep periodic (albeit spastic) backups to prevent 100% loss.
Other "hacks" are not by definition hacks at all, but simply client modifications, and we see them quite frequently, do our best to judge their fairness on a case by case basis, and react accordingly.
I don't understand what the second sentence is there for, except to try and use big words and confuse people, while failing in the grammar department.

Depends, are you asking on a legal stand-point or from our punishment system? Because legally you could go to prison for many years (Trust me, I know. I've dealed with this before). From our server, you'll get banned.

Para, when you say you've dealt with it before, does that mean YOU'VE been sent to jail or you HAD someone sent to jail?  :haha:

Neither. I recently went to a conference at Harvard called HMC which recreates a Model Congress. I was assigned the Department of Science and Technology in the House of Reps and I had to read a shit-ton of information on cyber security and hacking from representatives and laws and such. So I know my fair share on cyber security.

Nope, never failed in grammar. Also, those words weren't that "big". In fact, I kept it as simplified as possible, to get the question across. So say if someone, under the age of 18, (not me, by the way) were to do this "hack" thing? Wouldn't his parents take the legal punishment? Even if they are not accessing or tampering anyone's personal information or "property"?
Just wondering.

True hacking is Illegal. In the case of a minor it would depend on the situation. I knwo a guy who was a minor and he hacked into a banking server just for fun. Didnt take anything. Bank tracked him down and made the guy work fot them for 2 yrs without pay trying to hack their security. Reguardless of age the person doing the hacking will be punished

True. Just because you're a minor does not mean at all your parents will take the blame. If a 16 year old murders a person, the parents do not get blamed. This goes for, I believe, most laws.

They take the blame is the hacking was done over an internet connection payed for by them. This is law.
