Okay, so here's a pretty simple plugin that I'm developing now that's in the works. Pretty much what it does is, mainly, add little messages after you do certain events in minecraft that relate to Pokemon. This is to give our server a Pokemon-ish feel for actions. What's added so far:


Fishing:
1) If you catch a fish, the player gets a message saying: "A WILD MAGICKARP HAS APPEARED."
2) If you take your fishing reel out of the water, the player gets a message saying: "THE FISH ARE NOT BITING IN THIS AREA..."


Bed:
1) When you leave a bed, the player gets a message saying: "YOU FEEL RESTED."

I don't know if I'll scratch this project or not so tell me if you like the idea and if so, tell me some other messages you'd like to add!

Niiice props seems pretty simple though. Add some complex stuff to it, like obscure secrets.

If you could integrate this into mcmmo, maybe make it when u fish an enchanted item,'Wild Feebas Appeared!' because Feebas is pretty rare, like enchanted items.


Sounds like a good plugin too :D

What if we added a twist to this idea, and turned it into Achievements? That way the message only appeared once and doesn't spam you as you fish, and people felt like they had a goal in mind? Could use the Achievement list for ideas as well as the pokemon global actions.

Sounds good 1ce. Maybe like fish up a certain amount of fish, fish up an enchanted item, etc etc.

Wow paradox that's a great idea i have one idea on the plugin as well if you don't mind me saying it, when we battle it can say ''You have been challenged by [Rank] [Player name]'' like in Gym battles or Elite battles, sound good?

That would be a little complicated unless there is commands like /challenge ceruleangym, /challenge elite3 which would notify the leader/elite otherwise I'm not sure how it would be implemented.

The /challenge command could also tell you if a gym already had a challenger or something...but like Tactic said, I'm not really sure on how it would be implemented.

How about furniture? For example right clicking something in the spawn house and getting a simple message like the one in the game
