Step one: Google Optifine

Step Two: Download OPTIFINE not OPTIMINE or OPTIFOG. OPTIFINE

Step Three: Use Winrar or 7zip to OPEN the Optifine Mod and Minecraft.jar File.
-Optifine should be in your downloads folder.
-Minecraft.jar is found by doing --> %appdata% --> Roaming --> .minecraft --> bin --> minecraft.jar
 -Right click each one and open with 7zip/Winrar/Archivemanager

Step four: Select ALL the Optifine files and then drag and drop them into the Minecraft.jar file.

Step Five: Delete Meta-Inf then enjoy.

This is how I play Minecraft with optifine

IF IT CANT BE TURNED OFF IT WILL BE SET TO FAST.

IF IT CAN BE SET TO OFF SET TO OFF.

FAST=OBVIOUSLY BETTER BECAUSE ITS "FAST"

Animations for example: ALL OFF

I did that and no noticeable difference =/ Maybe I'm doing it wrong? =/

Well, i finally have mod loader working. Trying to install pixelmon but it keeps crashing my minecraft. no idea where i have to put the files..

Pixelmon is a bit more complicated. You can't just copy an paste the .jar files because they're a couple files that are needed that get overwritten in the process I would tell you the specific Ike's but I don't have my computer with me atm :/ but just go through the Pixelmon folder
And look for files with the same name in the mine craft and pixelmon folders. (had to teach this too anon too)
P.S. if my grammar makes no sense at all pox forgive me. Been switching planes all night

EDIT: Now I gotta work out how to make optifine make minecraft better.. =/
That method works for a lot of simple mods, but it's always best to just watch a youtube tut.
My favourite features of Optifine:
-L Control = ZOOOoOOOoOoOOOOooOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
-Changing texture packs without logging out, and installing new ones without quitting minecraft or needing to patch. ever.
-(obviously) all the lag reducing stuff :D
