Server Ideas?!

BUMP for ideas sake.
1.)    Prison/Gladiator server – buy your freedom, yada yada, could have magic spells or magic plugins. Basically what AlexandRed3 and I suggested. My first idea, they are POPULAR servers (prolly will get more donators – more dough – but they can get overpopulated and out of control.). You’d need admins as wardens, mods as guards, etc.

2.)    The Legend of Zelda – Quest based plugins? Other servers have them – look at MagicCraft. Don’t know how you would do it, but have like ultra mobs as bosses and collect pieces of the triforce, or gems? Some could make you super fast, fly, etc. or have other powers. Ganon’s forces against Hyrule? Pretty landscapes and could be fun to have people build, from different Zelda games.

3.)    Pure Magic or Dragons theme – Can you get Ender Dragons to fly around the overworld like Skyrim? Or do a Skyrim theme with classes/quests villages – Slaves vs. Imperial Legion factions, classes like dwarf, rogue, assassin, knight, etc. Like Ichi's idea.

4.)    Superheroes idea – Some sort of Magic like plugins with flying/superspeed, fireballs, teleport, vanish, super jump, summon mobs (necromancer), super strength (MCMMO unarmed without mcmmo)with of course weapons and shit too.  – Heroes vs. Villians over two cities. Tournaments and Free for all events too. Raw, fun, visceral PVP. Make mobs extra hard, they’re “thugs” on both sides.

5.)    Waterworld – There are a few respawning TINY islands that you must forage for resources, the rest is ENTIRELY water, build your own floating fortress by diving down and placing blocks, ally with others, use boats, Kill eachother, no MCMMO. Everyone starts on a simple floating stone platform, has to jump off and start swimming. Good luck.

I got heat on the last public admin meeting because the conversation went towards Tekkit, and I just started throwing ideas out there, 1ce and others asked if it was Tekkit compatible, so I said I don’t even know what Tekkit is, haven’t played it yet, so I’m just saying don’t know if these are viable or not on that.
They’re just suggestions and more ideas. Hope you enjoy them. And hope the Tekkit ideas are going good.

Liquid isn't making a zelda server. Mario phrased it wrong, Liquid is making an RPG questing server.


The problem is that everybody associates zelda with quests and RPG. Although it is technically that, There is more - Like the pokemonserver, Zelda themed plugins can be made, Grapples hooks, Voxelport secret passages etc.
So much can be done but few people want to commit. Its the main reason myself and Chibilink scrapped the idea and went with an Animal Crossing server.

I always like hardcore pvp servers. Its just a thought because its hard to find servers with dedicated admins that actually do stuff other than this one. This server idea wouldn't need to much work to make because all you need is just a spawn and some shops, then get mcmmo and factions and your good. Have like no rules except the basics like no hacks, respect people etc. I always find these hardcore pvp servers a lot of fun and they last a long time.
