This Server is PvP. Do NOT Complain That You Lost Your Stuff To The Person That Killed You.
Whenever There Is A New Update For Minecraft, We Do Not Update For Awhile. This Is To Allow All Of The Plugins The Server Uses To Update To The New Version Too. Now We Don't Want A McMMO-less Server Now Do We?
Don't ever expect to get mod right off the bat. You have to have those certain characteristics in order to even be considered. I should know. :P
If a mod nor admin is online, contact the most experienced player online and hopefully they may be of service. These people include GymLeaders, Any Donator rank, Elites, or AceTrainers. Be warned though; do not trust everyone, as some may only want you for your loot.
When Minecraft updates, and so do you, do not panic. I recommend asking an experienced player, or myself as I keep all my jars from each update, for the downgraded version. I may later add how to install, but for now this is fine.

You'll have to talk to Ali about it, preferably over PM. It's his guide, up to him to decide what/how he wants it changed.
