I was told that for every step the player makes in the game, that equals 2 blocks on Minecraft. Maybe that's why it was offscale?

Well, can I maybe get another chance? I didn't see a "No, you aren't supposed to make every step 2 blocks" or anything, so I suppose I was doing the building right in the first place. What am I going to do?
Yes, I know I built offscale, but I know I made everything 2 blocks for each step. So if I built offscale, then maybe not EVERYTHING is supposed to be 2 blocks. Maybe an explanation or something would be nice, but I'd like to know if I can have another chance at building, again doing it with other people when I'm making routes just to make sure I don't make a mistake.
