If you have a good reason, yes.
To be honest, those ranks really don't have a defined time, it's more of a "when we feel like its been too long, wtf is going on" amount of time, as far as I'm aware.
The month thing was simply because we didn't think anyone with that rank would be gone that long without a reason. If you can't perform your duties as an admin or a moderator, and can't take the time to tell anyone why, the rank is not deserved.
