One day, a young girl named Jordan walked from her home to the Pokemon Lab. She was going to visit Professor Elm to see if he had any new Pokemon. "Well, if it isn't Jordan!" said Elm. "There is something I want to give you." Jordan's best friend Blue was waiting outside. Jordan knew what this gift was because Blue had already gotten one. Professor Elm grabbed some Pokeballs and showed Jordan what was inside. "Please choose a Pokemon, Jordan." he insisted. I chose Chikorita, and Blue had chosen Totodile. After I got my Pokemon, Blue and I set off into the wild to find the first gym to challenge and to level up our Pokemon.
