Okay, so.


I made my rules for my gym the other day. Today, a challenger came and fought with me because my rules said "No fire enchants" and "no bows".


I have seen in a couple gyms where they allow only swords, or axes, etc. I have also seen a gym that only allows Infinity 1 on a bow.


Now, they are all saying I have to change my rules, but I don't understand why I am the only one that has to.

As far as I know, you aren't breaking any rules. It might be a bit of a grey area with the 'no fire enchants' but you are in your rights to ban bows.

You can only ban bows by banning all stone weapons+, though if you don't like bows you could just start off closer to your challenger.

right, and in addition to that, you could always try to make you arena less bow friendly

1ce told me not to remodel my arena, so I will pretty much die from archery everytime.

The arena is kinda unfair, I battled him and I hit him with my bow in one hit and he fell off. The arena looks like the championarena, so just like in elite fights it is easy to fall off and die, so I think it would be a good idea remodel the arena

I was the previous owner of that gym for me ther eis no freaking problem what so ever with the arena remember enderpeals are allowed in the fight thats why i specifically made it where you can enderpearl back up to the arena so there is no problem with that if there is then please tell me ever since i quit that gym the course are a wreck

Why is everyone so eager for change?

When I first read this I thought to myself, "Yeah, I guess Ecruteak Gym does rule."

When I battled Frenzy_Monkey in Cianwood Gym, I beat him with Unarmed and he said you cant use unarmed in his gym, so I talked to 1ce and he said that you are able to ban weapon types in Johto gyms only.
