I've done a bit of work since the last update, but I really want to get up an organized and functional OP (like something from the Minecraft forums) before I upload another... And I've so many other obsessions right now (mostly fanboying over Monty Oum's new web series, RWBY, on Tumblr) and formatting a post just feels so "ugh."


Really BS excuses, but rest assured this Resource Pack is being worked on. ^_^

Nice work. Just keep in mind the look of buildings and such when messing with the block textures. Lots of coloring is dependent on the textures to make it look right

I've helped you, Ruk, I'm making the music, LANG, GUI and the records better!
WHAT I DID:


The records are whole changed:
There are 5 discs with a single soundtrack, and the other 7 are albums with several soundtracks:
-> Pokémon Center (nice better version of classic one)
-> Pokémon Mart (Normal one)
-> Pokémon Game Theme
-> Prof Oak Theme
-> Lugia Soundtrack (from the movie....)
-> ALBUM All Villain Bosses (Giovanni-ghetsis-...)
-> ALBUM All Gym Leader Themes (from World Tournament BW2 --> all regions)
-> ALBUM All Laboratory Themes
-> ALBUM All Rival Themes (friends, thieves,...)
-> ALBUM Special Famous Remix with all Red & Blue Classic themes in it (but better version)
-> ALBUM All Series Theme Songs (all 16 theme songs)
MORE THAN 4 HOURS OF PLEASURE!


Changed GUI : I added the IP when you start MC, It's under MOJANG, and when you select something, you see a pokeball next to the MultiPlayer or options etc...


You changed the wheat texture to oranberry plant, now I renamed it in the LANG file, to Oran Berry


WHAT I'LL DO:
I'll change the background music , to 8bit route soundtracks and maybe cavesounds from pokemon...
Make animated texture of things... I CAN animate textures, like the lava and the beacon... I can change berries to moving schrubs, grass to moving grass,...

Great job (haven't looked at how it is yet, on my phone), I think it's nice that people are helping Ruk.

I also like this music, it's more my style.

I'm personally not sold on the changed soundtrack, however. Specifically the albums in particular. My original thought process when putting together the Discs as they are now was providing Gym Leaders on the server with something region-specific to set their battles to, and combining all of those into one disc is a bit counterproductive in that respect, given that there is no way to skip to specific parts of a Disc's audio file within Minecraft. Then the original 8-bit Trainer Battle theme is one of those "why wouldn't you include this?" things. So I'm basically not budging on 6 of the 12 discs.


Also, most songs from the anime (other than the original theme) are violently "meh" and even somewhat "my ears are bleeding" to me, personally. I'd prefer to just have the original theme song. That's 7. I'll work out the other 5 later.


As far as sounds and ambient music goes, I've got those covered. No need to fiddle with 'em.

Just went and did a whole bunch of modifying to the Language file, I wasn't sure Notepad would read it before. xD I'll probably have an update to the Resource Pack uploaded come Sunday. ^_^

Did you see the new texture of mobspawner? Now you can hide it in the grass... And i'll work on the 6 albumdiscs... I'll add all gymleader battle themes
and i'll put prof elms lab in it
I love those labs, but you don't because it's an album, so i'll take 1 or 2 labs

So i'll change the albums to the gymleader battles and i'll change the themesong to normal old version themesong... And please, let the album with all pokemon theme songs be, because everyone loves listening to that
