THE POKE GAMES
Chapter 1:
For many years, I had watched the hunger games, it was a deathmatch where 24 people were put into a large arena, and forced to kill eachother and the last one standing would win. I had always been a risk taker, and still am. The key to survival is to live life how you want it to be. I found out yesterday that the 2013 Hunger Games were being held in the world of the pokeserver. At random, the names of users were picked to participate in the poke games. I was one of the 24.
Today, I'm nervously waiting along side 23 other people, in Oak's Lab. To my left is a good friend of mine, Slime, and to my right... Well. To be honest, it wasn't someone I hoped would be in the games. My old rival, Tee. Tee is a very strong person, he has a good chance of winning.
The Odds are stacked against me. I need a plan.
Chapter 2:
The host of the poke games got us all teleported to the outside of the pokemon league. Now I'm here, I hear the voice of 1ce, the host of the poke games, say:
"Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! The Poke Games is about to begin! Let me introduce you to this year's contestants! The participants are:
Tee, Tene, Eer, TA, Archie, Duck, Emolga, Guilliam, Waffles, Prod, Libbie, Lilac, Zob, LED, Xander, Mage, Slime, Ali, Barn, Sweaty, Shark, Crim, Vict and Anon!"
It's finally happening. The moment I have been dreading yet I couldn't wait for. The moment where my life would never be the same again. The moment where I'm most likely to die. The moment when... 1ce starts the 10 second countdown.
"10! 9! 8!" I look over at Tee who seems a lot more stable than me, I glare at Zob and Shark who feel ready for anything.
"7! 6! 5!" I look around the Pokemom League, planning where to go and hide. Maybe Viridian City, maybe New Bark Town.
"4! 3! 2!" Mage, Waffles and Guilliam look nervous out of their asses, but I know that Mage and Waffles inparticular are infact unaware of their skill.
"1!" I immediately start running toward Viridian City.
Chapter 3:
I hear the cannon fire signifying someone has died before they got a chance to move. Then I hear 1ce.
"Eer has died. 23 contestants remain!"
Before I know it, I'm at Viridian. I notice Tene, Barn and Libbie grabbing chests. The worst thing happens. Tene throws weaponry and armour to Prod, Ali, Archie and Waffles. The staff have teamed up. Another cannon fires.
"Zob has died. 22 contestants remain!"
Sometimes an hour goes by in a blur, and sometimes a second lasts a lifetime. In the poke games arena, it's somehow both.
I get my hands on a wooden sword found next to the pokemart and notice the Staff heading into Viridian Forest. It would be smart to avoid them for the time being.
