NoClassDefFoundError?

Well, I tried to get the new launchers, but each time I tried it, it would say "Minecraft_exe couldn't be downloaded". So right now I can't get on Minecraft at all. :(
NoClassDefFoundError: well I was eventually able to download it when I used Firefox, but then I ran into another problem, if you know how to solve this problem it'd be great if you told me how, Thanks

Try download the .jar launcher instead of the .exe

Well, now I have a new problem: NoClassDefFoundError, this error has happened to me a lot, and in the past I just ignored it cause I was able to use in Browser, but now that there is no in-browser...  :-\  It needs to be fixed.

try deleting your minecraft folder and reinstalling the launcher. Otherwise you'll need to submit a ticket to Mojang.

Also as for versions of minecraft you may want to try using www.minecraft.great-windmill.com to download older versions of minecraft.

War, you have to try the new launcher. Manual version changing is a thing of the past, unless you want pre-1.5.1 builds.
