I was recently watching the science channel and this came up. Apparently, the male's Y-chromosome makes us inferior and males on are the path to extinction. Scientist have discovered a way to take any cell from the body of a male or female and make it into a fertile egg cell, according to them, revolutionizing gay marriages as both parents, no matter the sex, can now contribute to the child (though this has yet to be done do to ethical reasons). The child would be grown in an AU, or artificial uterus. So with males on the path to extinction, and mankind with this technology, in the next million years, will it no longer be needed to do "it"? Or will males survive by a miraculous chance? If anyone's interesting in hearing more information, look up "Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman: "Will Sex Become Extinct?""
