I'm confused about this game, what exactly is it?

Its about 4 surviours in a zombie apocalypse trying to get to safety and escape the 4 main characters are coach ellis nick and rochelle and basically its a first person shooter where oyu try to kill zombies but not only zombies cause there are special infected which are Tanks boomers smokers hunters jockeys and chargers it is played in level formate at the end of each level tehre is a safe room were you can restock on supplies and then try to get to the helicopter/boat/car/weird ass transportation thing thats really all
