I have a few of them from a few years ago and I stopped playing it because it just started to get repetitive. I like series that change every few years. Cod is not doing that and it gets boring. To compare cod to another game, here's Pokemon. Every few years, when a new generation comes out, they add entirely new pokemon, new regions, new battle types, new characters, and a new story. Mostly everything is new and interesting. Then there's call of duty. When a new game comes out, there are gun reskins, a few new maps, a few dlcs that cost way too much for what they have, and some other things that are too trivial to mention. Almost nothing is changed, and it gets very boring. Pokemon, however, changes it up and changes tons of things, while still being the pokemon series. You're praising Call of Duty's unchanging nature because it's "smooth" and it keeps the "experience." The experience is the same for EVERY fps and that's why I stopped playing them. I'm not just criticizing cod for this. I'm criticizing the entire fps genre.
