Dissapearing Wolves

I spawn a wolf with call of the wind, and then go to spawn to summon another. When I return home, my first wolf is gone. Every time I summon a wolf, they are gone the second I warp somewhere else. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Well, yes. I haven't actually tamed any wolves legitimately to be honest.

your most likely in a town, Mobs cannot spawn in towns, and that is why you are not getting the Wolves.

I'm not spawning them in the town, I'm spawning them at spawn, taking them home and when I return they're gone.

Spawn also has mob-spawning enabled. You're missing the point, wolves appear, then disappear.

Duck, try with wild wolves and see if the wolves stay.

Ye its happened to me to, I spawn one, Put it in my VIP Come back and their gone


Right now wild wolves seem to work, For me idk about other people

Thats still after the 1.6.2 server update, and also a while after the latest mcMMO update to the server too, and no one had complained about disappearing dogs for at least two weeks after updating. I have no idea why this is happening now, though it seems to only be for certain people.

I noticed this too. I was training taming with Sweaty. If I logged out or walked/warped too far from my wolves would vanish. This included wolves which were bred from the mcmmo wolves, which I would think would not count as mcmmo wolves. Sweaty had no issue with this. Looking back now, he had a large number of wolves. So it is likely that he could have had these wolves tamed before the mcmmo update, whereas I summoned/bred all mine after the update. Perhaps when the wolves were summoned correlates to their despawning.
