Holy Shit, you were serious! That find technically wasn't because of the poke radar. Shinies only start appearing after a streak of 40, so that was quite some luck!

No, shinies can appear at any point, a streak of 40 gives maximum probability of encountering a shiny through chaining.

Someone in #spp found a shiny on their 7th in the chain.
