Not really, it was closer than you'd think. Its not easy being restricted to a single type.

If you checked forums more often you'd have been able to join. This was up since early January. 
 Actually there is no "most original type". You just take it into assumption that water is the most original.
Just thought I would criticize that sentence. 

Id say normal is the most original. I see your point though. Normal types have no advantages.

Rhydon was the first created Pokemon, so that makes rock/ground an original type? Yet Mew was ancestor of all Pokemon, so psychic then? Or Bulbasaur being #001 (grass/poison), or Arceus, the 'original' normal type.

Rhydon was the first created in real life but not in the Pokemon continuity.Bulbasaur is the first that is listed on a man made tablet in Pokemon. I think there is no original type either and every type is equal. The reason I said normal is because If I had to choose one, that would be it. Mostly because, Arceus is normal and normal doesnt have a main theme to it, its just normal.

Not by freewill whenever it wants, it needs special items and in the games, the trainer makes it hold the item.
