Nevertheless, its still out. I live in the UK and its nice for once that we get something before USA and Japan do, especially linked with gaming. Forgive me if im wrong but as an example, we didnt get Pokemon Red/Blue till WAY after Japan and USA did.

If I ever have enough money that I dont need for Star Wars TOR then I might do it. For £8 a month its not bad if you think about it but we have Hamachi that you can use for free whenever you want, despite the limited amount of players allowed on.

Hamachi sucks. I can't even get it to install now >.< But it has a lot of vulnerabilities. Port forwarding is where its at, unless you but a host. $13 a month isn't too bad. The fact it doesn't support snapshots doesn't buy me, thats generally all I'll play vanilla on.

So its essentially a vanilla-only minecraft host for $13/month, and a cap of 10 players with a 20-player whitelist. I could get a crappy 1GB server for cheaper than that with 50x the customization.
(Note: most uneducated minecraft hosts suggest 1 GB per 20 people)

Now that its said out loud, it is kind of lousy. Forgive me if Im wrong but I think the only good things about it is no IP Addresses to mess around with, its so much easier to set it up and to play on it, you dont have to buy anything, just be invited, so I think free players can play too even if they haven't bought Minecraft yet.

I'm still sure you'd need a premium account, unless you can edit the server.properties from within your client.
