I already have Jirachi. Just because its a 3rd gen pokemon doesn't mean it'll definitely be given out with the remakes.

Like I said earlier, that is a completely different Kanto that's set two years in the future. This isn't a new Hoenn, it's the same one as in R/S/E but with a graphics update.

That graphics update will be sufficient enough to warrant a new region however. There will be too many changes to adapt the current map.

Ok first off the thing no one has mentioned even once yet HOENN was the only place we ever met our character's Father (will he be in the new game, 2nd has it said anywhere that the region will be HOENN? because I can't find anywhere that says it...

It will be Hoenn. Game Freak said it would be a full remake (it's on Serebii), which obviously implies that it'll have Hoenn. For the same reason, it should also have your father in it.

I agree I was hoping for ... I don't know something with sound or a look at the region

"The next batch of CoroCoro information have been posted to Japanese forums. The first of which reveals the game, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. As expected, it doesn't show screenshots of the game but rather does what happened in Get TV last night and compares Groudon & Kyogre to the images on the package. The magazine promises that new content will come & be revealed in the issue next month, currently set for release on June 14th 2014"

No chance that there is a completely new reigon. Kalos JUST came out. This is obviously just a remake.

I just realised that. Was he ever available in gen 3 or was he like Arceus and never actually able to be captured.

There were specific areas that looked like they'd be event triggers for Jirachi, but the only ways to get him were through the Colosseum promo disc or the European/ Australian versions of Pokemon Channel until gen 4. Unless, of course, you lived in Japan, then there was a Jirachi event almost every year.


EDIT: Forgot to mention that Jirachi didn't have a gen 5 event outside of Japan either.
