Server not updated?

ok so I just logged on to minecraft and it automaticly updated me to 1.2.4 and I tried to log onto the server but, it said outdated server. Is this going to be like the wait for 1.2 or is it going to be a short enough wait that I shouldn't go through the trouble of downgrading back to 1.2.3?

as always there is no set time frame for the server to update
A NOTE TO EVERYONE: It is illegal to post up the minecraft.jar file. Please do not do it here or anywhere else.
but feel free to google how to backdate

if you really want to though you should google it, but if you really wanted to you wouldn't be asking huh?
BTW no one update if you didn't get the message :P

I wouldn't expect it to take too long, its the same version, just another bugfix.
