Join Date Plugin

Tene suggested I put this here. I was looking through bukkit plugins that might be handy learning and stumbled across a really cool plugin called JoinDate. It's a really simple plugin that with one command tells you the date you joined the server. It even works with players who joined before it was added.


I just think it'd be a nice little thing that people would enjoy having, especially older players who'd like to see how long they've been on the server. It could even be a donator perk, much like /hat. Also, it'd be useful for mod applications where they ask for how long you've been on the server.


It's only one command and, in turn, one permission. It really would not take up any space or cause lag and is updated and not out of date.

I think this plugin would be useful. Especially for applications and so forth for the exact date we have entered the server.

Interesting, I think it would be a great plugin, so not everyone has September 2012 on their join date.

Awesome! It's like a /seen for yourself, except your join date. Will you be able see the join date of others?

Yes you can and if they are online with you you only have to use their nickname or an abbreviation of their name and it'll pick them up.

I don't tink we should add this just yet. My idea is to waiting when the new maps are ready, then make this a plugin we can use. And this would fit in with EULAs changes I believe.

Most likely because Tene is caught up with Unova, server files, everything else we don't know about, anime, her personal life. I feel we should just introduce it along with the new maps. Will most likely be easier on tene.

It doesn't do a very good job of calculating large times on the server. Apparently I've been admin longer than I've been on the server...

That was never meant to be a join date, that is just when the command was added.
