I've ready pretty much every post here and I don't agree with any one of them.
Windows is my personal favorite mess-around OS. It Allows me to generally install anything I want, easy to navigate, fast, easy learning curve, and nicely designed. It has some draw backs such as the inability to do a lot of things I like to do as a programmer (SSH programming fucks you like a bitch in windows), less customizable than other OS, security problems, and more. But still my favorite.
I like to dual boot windows with my other favorite OS, Linux. Linux has the advantage of being über customized, fixable by the user, and able to do almost do anything that windows and Mac can do but better. There's only a Few drawbacks. You need to have years of experience with operating system programming as well as SSH to get anything done. If not, you're done for. Luckily, I'm one of these people and this problem doesn't really affect me
Mac is also a good OS, but my least favorite. I personally own an iPhone and im typing this post on it right now. I see most superficial people say "macs are for losers and I'm better for not using it" and I say fuck you to them. Mac is amazing for your basic every day user. It's straightforward, quick, generally easy to learn, nice looking, and generally virus free. Generally. Recently there's been a large development in the abuse of Macs security problems. Also, they're expensive as shit. And limited as fucked.
All in all, no OS is perfect. I'll just make one for all of you
