How To Join the Server

Step 1: Make sure you're using an non-hacked version of 1.7.2
Step 2: Try to join play.pokemonserver.net 
Step 3: Try 192.95.3.68
Step 4: If that doesn't work post here

Vanilla is default with no mods. Spoutcraft is spout client

I'm a newbie Mum trying to help my son.  I can add the server but when I try to connect I get the message "failed to login: bad login"  Any suggestions?

Try reinstalling minecraft, or changing your password and trying again. Also make sure you're using a paid account. I've gotten that error when i've been logged into my account in 2 different sessions.
