Admin meeting May 3rd
« on: May 03, 2012, 11:08:12 pm »
For the plugins that we agreed have been most important to us in the lifespan of the server, we will donate 5 dollars to each developer/organization.
'essentials foundboxx logblock mcmmo multiverse otherbounds pex  worldguard worldedit'
They, or versions of them, have been pivotal in our continuing to function, and most developers need more than just a 'thank you' to stay motivated. I (1ce) suggest that if you enjoy our server enough, that you consider giving to the developers of those plugins, or any others that you are aware we use, with a note that the pokemon server appreciates their work and dedication. We have been using Essentials, WorldEdit and WorldGuard literally since week 1, and they have never failed us (unless I fuck up the config because I'm a yaml noob). The rest are simply ones that I decided were important. We can only afford $5/plugin because it multiplies to $45 and increases fast, but if you can add on, please consider it. Please also note the pokemon server and our gratitude as well.

"OpenInv.anychest" gives permission to open chests that are blocked by a block on top.  This will be added to VeteranDonators+ and will hopefully give them more room to access chests such as ones right below the roof of their house.

TnT will work in the wild. This comes with a warning label.
Try to spam tnt and crash/lag the server and we will ban you.
Blow up an admin creation in the wild and we will ban you.
Ask for tnt access in your house and we will ban you.
Blow up another user's belongings in a region and-guess what-
we will ban you.
No warnings. This is your warning. All Admins will perma-ban on sight. No appeals.
If you find an admin creation and want it to be protected, tell us. We tried to get them all, but we can't.
You may even be rewarded for reporting it.

Ban appeals have been addressed.

idracoghost will have his badges taken as was supposed to have been done ages ago. Not sure why this was an admin topic :p

Wait so if TNT is set of in non-protected area but next to protected area it will still destroy the protected stuff in the protected area like letting water pour from non-protected to protected? That's not very good. I know TNT will be fun in the wild but what if someone makes a TNT cannon and shoots the TNT into Kanto destroying a route or city? I know the region is backed up but it's not a very good thing to happen and you can't track them if they use a cannon.
Is the giant Diglett safe cuz that's really cool and it would be bad if someone damaged it like this.

Don't think I don't want TNT, it'll be fun but I'm just worried for the server. :/

I must agree with shark. Even if you can put the protection further with enough tnt you can launch it into protected areas. Also is it still dissabled in MV worlds?

Refer: Last week's admin meeting;
TnT after testing may be allowed in the wild.

We aren't careless, nor reckless. The reason it takes so long to do anything is due to said testing for loopholes and caveats.
As for MV, no thank you for reminding me, I'll attend to that now.

I was told they were going to set it up, but I've heard nothing since last week.
